Banawah is collocated with Nathalia District Hospital in a new purpose built facility of 20 residential aged care beds. The home is set in an extensively landscaped garden area, with raised garden beds, relaxing areas which include sensory garden areas and an aviary. Residents are accommodated in spacious single rooms, with all rooms having their own televisions, cabling for private telephones or internet connection, call bell and security systems and discreetly located piped oxygen. Subject to availability, residents have the choice of shared or self contained ensuites to their rooms.Individualised care is provided by a team of qualified Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, who work with the resident and family to identify the care which best meets both the resident's needs and preferences.
