The facility opened in 1975 and is undergoing a major refurbishment. The rooms are clustered into 8 wings. There is a dementia secure area. All rooms have a private ensuite and their own balcony which overlooks a garden. Constructed over two levels with ramp access and lifts to the upper level. Nursing staff are available 24 hours a day. A dedicated lifestyle team facilities daily and regular activities for residents with clubs, groups and outings. When completed in late 2016, the facility will have 123 single rooms, all with private ensuite. The facility will contain high quality furniture and fittings, and be tastefully decorated.Please note: Due to major renovations we are currently not taking in new residents. Renovations are due to complete late 2016.
