Eight rooms within the 41 room facility have either full or partial views of the Ocean. All 41 rooms have balconies with bedrooms of 18-19 square metres, include built-in robes and are furnished with an electric high/low bed in each room. Heater, lights and ceiling fans, telephone and television point are located in each room. Low care rooms include a kitchenette. Floors are either carpeted or covered with a cushioned, non-slip vinyl. Ensuites (4.5-7.5 square metres) include shower, vanity unit, toilet and grab rails, and are tiled. A nurse call device is located in both the bedroom and ensuite bathroom for residents' safety. All rooms have fire sprinklers.
Common Areas Description
The facility has two courtyards and two sitting areas. The facility also includes lifts, a hairdressing salon, bus transport, exercise and activities room, prayer room, library, outdoor barbeque area and several communal lounge and dining areas. The home has live-in pets and all common areas are air-conditioned. New dining sets and an outdoor setting was purchased in 2013. The facility was repainted in 2010. The facility is undergoing renovation in 2014.
