TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Prize is promoted, supplied and drawn by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd (ABN 44 166 080 306) of Suite 9B, Level 1, 6-8 Grice Avenue, Paradise Point QLD 4216 (the “Promoter”).

1. STANDARD TERMS

1.2 By entering the ‘Share Your Experience and WIN a 7 Night South Pacific & Vanuatu Cruise’ competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?

2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years of age or older who successfully enter the draw during the Competition Period.

2.2 Employees, directors and their immediate families of Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

3. ENTRY PROCESS

3.1 Competition Period: The competition commences at 9.00am on Monday 11 March 2018. Entries close at 5.00pm on Thursday 5 December 2019.

3.2 In order to enter the competition entrants must successfully:

3.2.1 Complete a review on an aged care industry business listed on www.agedcarereviews.com.au; or

3.2.2 ‘Share’ or ‘Like’ a promotional social media post posted by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or its subsidiary Aged Care Decisions on either Facebook, Twitter or Youtube; or

3.2.3 Share a promotional email sent by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or its subsidiary Aged Care Decisions; or

3.2.4 Submit a review or testimonial on Aged Care Reviews or Aged Care Decisions on a review or promotional platform nominated by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd; or

3.2.4 Become a member of www.agedcarereviews.com.au or www.agedcaredecisions.com.au

3.3 A competition entry is lodged:

3.3.1 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.1 - at the time an entrant successfully completes a review;

3.3.2 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.2 - at the time the relevant post is shared or liked by the entrant on that individuals Facebook, Twitter or Youtube account;

3.3.3 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.3 – at the time the entrant forwards a “Promotional Email” sent by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or by Care Decisions to at least one other person;

3.3.4 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.4 – at the time the user completes and submits a review or testimonial on the relevant online platform;

3.3.5 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.5 – at the time the user completes and clicks ‘submit’ on a membership form located on either agedcarereviews.com.au or agedcaredecisions.com.au.

3.4 In respect to an entry related to cl 3.2.1, a review is “successfully completed” when:

3.4.1 The required content is submitted for all review screens; and

3.4.2 Personal details required for review verification is submitted – including valid email address; and

3.4.3 The review is deemed by the Promoter, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter, not to breach the Content Guidelines of www.agedcarereviews.com.au – the terms of which are available via the footer menu of that website. Reviews that breach the Content Guidelines will not be permitted to enter the draw; and

3.4.4 The review appears on the www.agedcarereviews.com.au website at least once during the Competition Period.

3.5 Subject to the foregoing, existing members of www.agedcarereviews.com.au or www.agedcaredecisions.com.au are eligible to enter the competition providing they successfully complete the competition entry requirements related to cl 3.2.1, cl 3.2.2, cl 3.2.3 or cl 3.2.4 at least once during the Competition Period.

3.6 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.1:

3.6.1 Each review that is successfully completed will entitle the individual submitting the review to one (1) automatic entry in the Competition. Individuals who successfully complete more than one (1) review will be entitled to one (1) entry in the draw for each review that has been successfully completed.

3.6.2 Any reviews submitted before the competition opens, and after the competition closes, will not be eligible to enter the draw.

3.6.3 Incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible reviews, including personal details required to successfully complete the review, will, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoters, invalidate the participant's entry into the Competition.

3.7 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.2:

3.7.1 Each promotional social media post that is either ‘shared’ or ‘liked’ through Facebook, Twitter or Youtube will entitle the individual to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition. Individuals who successfully ‘share’ or ‘like’ more than one (1) post during the Competition Period will be entitled to one (1) entry in the draw for each post that is either ‘shared’ or ‘liked’.

3.7.2 A social media post posted by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or its subsidiary Aged Care Decisions will be considered a “promotional social media post” if it contains the words “Promotional Post” or “Promotion” or “Competition” in the body of the social media post; or contains a reference to this ‘Share Your Experience and Win an 7 Night South Pacific & Vanuatu Cruise’ competition; or contains a hyperlink to these competition terms & conditions.

3.7.3 Any posts ‘shared’ or ‘liked’ before the competition opens, and after the competition closes, will not be eligible to enter the draw.

3.8 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.3:

3.8.1 Each “Promotional Email” that is forwarded to at least one other person will entitle the individual to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition. Individuals who successfully send more than one (1) email to at least one other person will be entitled to one (1) entry in the draw for each email that is forwarded to at least one other person.

3.8.2 An email will be considered a “Promotional Email” if it contains the words “Promotional Email” in the subject or body of the email, and contains a reference to this ‘Share Your Experience and Win an 7 Night South Pacific & Vanuatu Cruise’ competition.

3.8.3 Any “Promotional Emails” forwarded before the competition opens, and after the competition closes, will not be eligible to enter the draw.

3.8.4 In order for an email to be considered “forwarded” the forwarded email should contain at least 95% of the content of the original email sent to the individual by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or its subsidiary Aged Care Decisions.

3.9 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.4:

3.9.1 Each review or testimonial submitted by a person on Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd or its subsidiary Aged Care Decisions will entitle the individual to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition. Individuals who successfully submit or complete more than one (1) review or testimonial will be entitled to one (1) entry in the draw for each review or testimonial that is submitted or completed.

3.9.2 The review or testimonial must be submitted or completed on an online platform nominated by the Promoter. The nomination of relevant online platforms shall be in writing and/or electronic mail provided to the person via email or SMS. The email or SMS shall be considered a valid review platform nomination communication if the email or SMS contains the words “Competition”, “Cruise” or “Review Platform Nomination” in the body of the email or SMS.

3.10 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.5

3.10.1 Any individuals who become a member of either agedcarereviews.com.au or agedcaredecisions.com.au before the competition opens, and after the competition closes, will not be eligible to enter the draw.

4. PRIZE
4.1 One eligible winner will be drawn for the Competition. The prize won by the winner is described in clause 4.2 below.

4.2 The prize consists of one (1) x Royal Caribbean Cruise ’7 Night South Pacific Cruise’ for two (2) persons for seven (7) nights. The cruise will be aboard the ‘Ovation of the Seas’ (as notified by Royal Caribbean International at the time of competition opening), with accommodation for two people in a twin share ‘Inside Virtual’ cabin room. Departure from Sydney will occur on 5pm on Saturday 22 February 2020, travelling to the ports of Noumea New Caledonia, Mystery Island Vanuatu and Sydney. The cruise will return to Sydney seven (7) nights after departure from Sydney.
The prize includes on board accommodation: in-cabin breakfast at no charge, all main meals on-board, entertainment - live music and/or shows, movies, infant creche, kids clubs & teen programs, ship-shore-ship transfers.

The prize does not include flights or transfers to Sydney or from Sydney, spending money; travel insurance; or other transport. It is up to the prize winner to: ensure availability to take advantage of the prize on the dates herein nominated; arrange, at their own cost, transfers to Sydney and from Sydney; ensure eligibility for relevant visa’s; make available, at their own cost, adequate spending money; ensure possession and currency of a valid passport; ensure fitness for travel; and obtain coverage of relevant travel insurance.

4.3 The prize/s cannot be converted, transferred, nor are they redeemable for cash or exchange.

4.4 The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any problems encountered with a prize after delivery. Once a prize voucher is delivered it becomes the responsibility of the prize winner. Any issues or problems encountered should be directed to the service provider. The Promoter endeavours to do everything possible to assist with service provision issues, but cannot accept any liability.

4.5 All prizes are subject to availability. Should a prize become unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar product of same or similar value.

5. DRAW

5.1 One Prize Draw will be held at the conclusion of the Competition Period.

5.2 The details of the Prize Draw are as follows: Prize Draw Date & Time: 6.00pm Thursday 5 December 2019.

5.3. Each Prize Draw will take place at the date and time nominated in clause 5.2 above. Each Prize Draw will take place at the offices of Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd (Paradise Point, Queensland).

5.4 Not in Use.

5.5 The number of prizes to be drawn in a Draw Period shall be determined in line with clause 4.1 above.

5.6 Not in Use.

5.7 Each Prize Draw during the Competition Period shall involve the computer generated random drawing of names.

5.8 If a competition entrant is drawn more than once during the Competition Period, that winner shall forfeit their second and subsequent prizes, and a redraw will immediately take place.

5.9 The Promoter shall conduct all Prize Draws fairly and impartially. The Promoter will not enter into any discussions or correspondence regarding a prize draw or with a subsequent winner/s.

5.10 Winners will be notified directly by the Promoter via email on the day of the Prize Draw. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner directly, the Promoter will retry to a maximum of three (3) times to contact a winner via email. If a winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 6.00pm Monday 9 December 2019 the winner will forfeit the prize and a redraw will be held at the offices of the Promoter at 6.30pm Monday 9 December.

5.11 A redraw conducted pursuant to clause 5.10 above will only be open to entries that were eligible for a prize in the original Prize Draw to which the redraw relates. A second redraw will be held at 6.30pm Thursday 12 December 2019 if the redrawn drawn prize winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 6.00pm Thursday 12 December 2019 (the redraw prize winner having forfeited the prize by failing to contact the Promoter by the stated deadline). The prize will be forfeited if the second redraw winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 6.00pm Monday 16 December 2019.

5.12 Prize winners will be publicised via www.agedcarereviews.com.au

6. DELIVERY OF PRIZE

6.1 The Promoter will arrange for delivery of a prize voucher upon successful notification of win. This may be by personal delivery, electronic mail delivery or via Australia Post Parcel Post delivery. The winner may arrange pick up from the Promoter’s office where preferred.

6.2 The Promoter reserves the right to ask for suitable identification prior to surrender of the prize.

7. PROMOTION OF WINNERS

7.1 The Promoter may request that a prize winner takes part in a promotional photograph that may be used on our website, in social media or news media. The Promoter will not provide the details or images of any winner to any third party not mentioned in this document, without the express permission of the prize winner.

8. CONDUCT & PROMOTION OF COMPETITION

8.1 This competition shall be conducted via the website of the Promoter, www.agedcarereviews.com.au, and generally promoted on the internet.

8.2 Notwithstanding the foregoing, this competition shall not be promoted within the Australian Capital Territory.
