Our leisure and lifestyle specialists coordinate a broad variety of activities in conjunction with the residents. Pre-entry discussions and feedback from our residents enable our staff to identify leisure interests so that our programs can be tailored to suit our residents preference.

Located on a hillside in the historic and picturesque suburb of Toowong in Brisbane our fully accredited service of St Johns Home for Men is focused on providing excellent 24 hour nursing and care assistance for elderly men. St Johns Home for Men also provides special accommodation and recreational amenities for those with dementia. In addition the home caters for the specific care groups of homeless men and those with mental health and complex health issues. The service is located on public transport routes.

St Johns Home for Men is named in honour of the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland St Johns Cathedral.

Spread over two levels and connected by lifts St Johns Home for Men features spacious kitchens dedicated living and dining areas with a centrally-located canteen and local shopping service. A generous central community space provides an ideal environment for residents to enjoy indoor games and other activities.

Anglican and Roman Catholic church services are held monthly with clergy from other denominations visiting as required. Fully qualified Spiritual and pastoral carers are also on hand for Residents and families.
