Aegis Parkview in Perth is fantastic but you pay for what you get. It costs $20 a day in extras for food, wine and a bus trip every 2 weeks but sometimes gets cancelled

Aegis Parkview has some friendly and attentive staff that really have compassion for your loved ones, but it seems they are always understaffed and are always relying on outside agencies to step in and the staff from agencies, do not have compassion and do not go the extra mile. Food is absolutely appalling. No nutritional goodness, stodgy and uneatable.

The staff here are very friendly and caring to my mother and the building is quite new. I do wonder how people afford the outrageous 'bond' price that the Government have put on aged care.
Aegis Parkview is a 79 bed high care facility situated on Drummond Street in Redcliffe. Drummond was a botanist and the four wings are named after native Australian plants.Accommodation comprises of two Extra service wings, one unbonded wing and one secure Dementia wing. All rooms are single with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The different wings all have their own lounge and dining areas with large individual courtyards. The facility is surrounded by well maintained gardens.Aegis Parkview has a theatre room with a large screen for movie days which is enjoyed by the residents.A family room is provided for any family member who wishes to stay with the resident in times of illness.
