WARNING - WARNING - WARNING This facility fails to meet the most basic accreditation requirements to operate - they have been directed to make substantial changes if they want to continue to operate. THERE IS NO SUPERVISION - NO STIMULATING ACTIVITIES - DREADFUL ATTITUDE TOWARDS RESIDENTS. THEY HAVE SO MANY VACANT BEDS AND I HOPE FOR THE SAFETY AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF YOUR LOVED ONE - DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE INTO ALKIRA - UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPEDITE THEIR DEATH VIA ABUSE AND OVERT NEGLECT.

My mother has been a resident since March 2016. Reluctant at first but very happy now. Major asset is the kindness of its staff - respectful, obliging, patient and generous. New structure and beautiful garden is also a major attraction.

Very clean and food is restaurant quality. Staff very caring.my father passed away here and was treated extremely well in the time he was there. Couldn't recommend highly enough.he was treated with respect and he made his final days bearable for all.
