Amber Aged Care is a 32 bed aged care facility situated in the north eastern suburb of Paradise. The facility is made up of five separate houses, four accommodation and one central activity house. The accommodation houses consist of no more than 8 bed rooms per house, central lounge and private dining area. Amber Aged Care has undercover outdoor areas and wide open spaces. Attached to the aged care facility is Amberlie, a quiet housing estate consisting of 12 independant living units. Residents of the estate are encouraged to participate with residents of the home through a range of activities. Amber Aged Care has its own bus service providing outings for the residents by our dedicated lifestyle staff. We have a strong Baltic community supporting their cultural needs through choice of meals and activities. We also have residents from a diversity of backgrounds that are accommodated and catered for on an individual basis. The home is charming and unique in character.

The aged care facility was built in the 1990s. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Each room has its own ensuite and has an out into the garden. All rooms have sliding door access directly to the garden so consumers can sit out in the sun or open their door for fresh air. All rooms are air-conditioned individually for adequate heating and cooling.
Common Areas Description
All consumers have access to a common lounge and dining area in each building sharing the areas with a maximum of 8 consumers. Also available is a common activity/dining area where consumers meet on a daily basis. There is also available extensive outdoor under cover areas for consumers and families to enjoy.
