Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home - Situated on a large landscaped site in the bayside Brisbane suburb of Manly, our fully accredited residential aged care service Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home offers modern facilities in an idyllic seaside environment. Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home is built in a modern bungalow-style providing excellent 24 hour nursing and care assistance for the elderly. We encourage our residents to share their individuality and maintain their independence while promoting a safe, nurturing environment that feels like a home should.Special accommodation and recreational amenities are also available for those with dementia, and include a large shaded outdoor area where residents can enjoy weekly picnics or participate in the activities program. Medium-sized single rooms with private ensuite set within our Dementia Care area. The rooms provide for in-room storage, including wardrobe with shelving and chest of drawers. Each room has ceiling fans, TV and telephone connections and installed safety systems e.g. nurse call and fire safety services.

Situated on a large landscaped site in the beautiful bayside Brisbane suburb of Manly, our fully accredited aged care home, Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home offers modern facilities in an idyllic seaside environment.
The home provides an open environment for our residents including dedicated area kitchenettes and private lounge facilities that can be enjoyed by residents and their families.
The home has recently been extended and refurbished through a $15m capital development project intended to make the facility more family orientated and to enhance resident wellness and amenity. The work has involved the construction of new rooms and the refurbishment of existing rooms providing air conditioned single bedroom ensuite accommodation in all rooms. Other key features of the works include a memory support garden and intimate lounge dining areas in close proximity to resident accommodation. A service wing provides a new laundry, kitchen, storage and staff facilities.
The home also features a large communal activities and lounge area, a consultant room, hairdresser, overnight accommodation, additional meeting rooms, outdoor areas and a dedicated chapel. Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home also offers a full commercial on-site kitchen that provides freshly prepared meals, which are delivered to several dining areas across the home. Special meals are prepared to honour cultural events, cater for special dietary requirements and special occasions. Our on-site laundry provides clothes washing services for all residents.
A range of allied health professionals regularly visit the home. They include a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dentist, optometrist, audiologist, speech therapist and a dietician.
Our leisure and lifestyle specialists coordinate a broad variety of activities in conjunction with the residents. Pre-entry discussions and feedback from our residents enable our staff to identify leisure interests so that our programs can be tailored to suit residents’ needs
