Very happy with everything about St Lukes. The staff, food, care, and facility. They do alot for residents to make them feel happy , safe and comfortable. I am impressed with the activities and social events they organise for them. The staff are friendly , compassionate and treat the relatives of the residents like family too !

Facility is understaffed and whilst some of the staff are lovely and hard working they are clearly under-resourced and not well supported. Unfortunately it has been our experience that some of the staff make the whole experience of visiting and enquiring after the wellbeing of a loved one extremely unpleasant and confrontational. Communication seems poor between the staff and requests for information are often met with total ignorance or blatant rudeness. Our family ensures someone is visiting daily as we have very little confidence in the level of care being administered. The rooms are old and depressing. If nan wasn't too ill to move her, we would do so immediately.

My mother has dementia and was evicted from the facility without any notice because she kept trying to escape

I found the residential care was not suitable. There was a shortage of staff leaving the residence neglected. I had to change my loved one myself not a nice thing to do. I don't feel that the residence were given the respect they deserved. On a positive note the entertainment was enjoyable especially the church services.
