Ashman Grove at Ethelbert Square, Brompton opened in 1991 to provide Hostel Care for up to 49 people. Residents have the privacy of their own room with an en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and hand-basin. There is a significant programme of activities and social entertainment for them to participate in if they so desire. The home comprises 45 rooms, each room comprising bed/sitting room, en-suite and outdoor area. Four of these rooms are suitable to accommodate two people such as married couples, sisters or other relatives. Two Federally Funded Respite Care beds are available and one rehabilitation bed is maintained.
