I would never recommend Ashmore Gardens to anyone primarily due to the fact that in the short time my mum was there (5 months) twice she was admitted to hospital after I had to bring it to their attention! Both occasions - December 2022 and March 2023 the doctor was supposed to be coming to see mum - as told my staff - never turned up!

Ticks all the boxes and I have peace of mind knowing that my father is being well cared for.

My Mother has only just moved in to an aged care facility after living with us for 18 months, so I dont have much to say. Hopefully all goes well.

I found the care for my mother very good in the dementia ward-staff to resident ratio good compared to a previous home

I have a friend here on respite...her third time...have found the staff to be lovely. She is well cared for, groomed and encouraged to eat. The only one thing that I would like is a bit more social interaction but as there are different levels of dementia within the care facility, it is not always possible to give the more active people more attention when the nurses are needed elsewhere. I would encourage a volunteer program at this facility.
