Our family arranged residential care under the misapprehension that the home would provide day-to-day care better than her adult children could provide. Due to inadequate preventative measures, she fell out of bed and suffered a fractured skull. This, and the subsequent stroke, went undetected for six weeks. She subsequently died due to lack of immediate intervention on the one hand, and lack of prevention of the fall, on the other. I blame both events on a shortage of staff.

My aunty, has been at your Reservoir facility for some yrs.. I visited her about a month ago and was delighted to find the facility completely changed. The refit is fabulous, so calming and relaxing. The staff were so happy. This must be a positive for the residents, as well as their visitors. So uplifting. Congratulations to all concerned. I know my Aunty is happy with the change.

Laundry care nursing needs more attention. Clothing goes missing. Maybe named laundry bags might be the answer. And breakfast options not suitable for Europeans. Could be addressedmother than that excellent!

Sincere and caring towards their in house members and their families. The only concern if have the excess cost placed on families. These costs should be covered by thru pension and subsided by government to alleviate the financial burden on families. After all these people have been taxes all their lives and are Australian citizens!
