My mum spent 5 months prior to her passing in Baptcare Peninsula View and she always felt well cared for and safe. Baptcare is run as a business. No personal touches for residents, bland hospital feel and food. The worst thing being no good plans in place for people who get dementia as they are not "qualified" to deal with them so residents are booted to the closest hospital to be dealt with. My mother was a resident at Baptcare Peninsula on Moorooduc Road, Baxter. We are extremely happy with the care she received there. The staff were very caring and approachable. Social activities were well organised as were mealtimes. The facility was always clean and bright. Rooms were quite spacious and had outlooks over garden areas. I would totally recommend this facility to others.
