In the Lodge, we recognise the special gifts and qualities of each of our Residents, family members and our staff. We have created a homely environment where life, love and laughter abound. The Lodge accommodates Residents in single suites with services that include all meals, weekly cleaning of room, linen changes, personal washing and laundry services. Residents are assisted with more personal care e.g. showering and dressing, and qualified nursing staff manage medical and medication requirements. Audiologist, podiatrist, optometrist, physiotherapist, doctors, hairdresser, church services are also available. Residents have the opportunity to participate in craft activities, bus outings, games and concerts. Ageing in place is available within the Lodge, upon assessment some residents may need to move to a higher care facility to best cater for their individual needs. A waiting list applies and priority is given to Residents living within the Village Baxter Retirement Village.
