Constructed in 2006, the Barossa Village Residency is completely modern, clean and inviting place. All of our rooms are self-contained with en-suite and are individually air-conditioned for your comfort. Your room has plenty of natural light and your window opens to a garden space which you are invited to personalise. Standard room features include bedside table / locker, built in wardrobe, telephone, several power points, television connection, call bell, height adjustable bed and where required we supply a pressure-relieving mattress. You are most welcome to individualise and personalise your room with pictures, photographs, etc. Furnishings and fittings include adjustable high/low bed, bedside table and overway table. Each room has wall-mounted lights as well as overhead lights and recessed down lights. A built-in wardrobe is provided, which includes a chest of drawers, with a lockable drawer to provide minimal security for personal items. Reverse cycle heating and cooling is provided to each room, with individual temperature control. The bathroom consists of wheelchair accessible toilet, shower and vanity basin, along with vanity cabinet to store toiletries and other bathroom related items. Communication facilities include a phone outlet, to enable private phone line to enable residents to maintain their relationships with friends and families during their residence in the facility. Each Resident have their own call button and access to nursing and care staff 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Modern, clean and welcoming, The Residency is open yet secure. With wide doorways, passageways and walkways, we have many and varied spaces inside and outside of the facility. All rooms are within close access to garden walks. Our facility provides the highest-standard accommodation and surroundings. Our public space areas throughout the complex are tastefully furnished with a mix of shared sitting, meeting and dining rooms. We also have a diverse social-activity program, a well-stocked library and opportunities for a range of religious services. There are regularly scheduled activities within the Activities Room including Arts and Crafts, Board Games, Card Games, Entertainment, Exercise classes, Bingo, Sing-alongs and other Social activities. Our Residents have access to services such as a Hairdressing Salon, Cultural and Spiritual activities, as well as massage, aromatherapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, speech therapy, dietetics and hairdressing. Additionally, we have several TV community rooms and Tea/ Coffee and Refreshment Facilities, BBQ areas, Bird aviary, Garden areas and undercover seating, opportunities for Gardening, several Gazebos and Large lawn areas, and secure courtyards for entertaining. We aim to meet the full range of needs and expectations presented by our Residents.
