We now affectionately call this Home, the 'Baradine Hilton', as that is exactly the lifestyle it offers. We cannot recommend this Home highly enough. The warmth, welcome, care and love that was shown to our Mum whilst she was there, was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was served, as she herself has served others during her life. She was able to truly rest, everything was thought of and offered. As family visiting, we were also made to feel at home; invited to stay for a meal, overnight, bring our pet in, or join in the activities. The rooms are warm, spotlessly clean, attractive and homely. 'Barry', the maintenance man, had our Mum's personal things displayed within hours of her arrival so that she would feel instantly familiar. Rose, the manager, was like a warm hug, welcoming our Mum like a family member. The residents were also open, chatty, and understanding of these new changes. There are so many little nooks to sit quietly, look out over the view of the Dandenongs, or the gardens and its chickens. The decor is luxe and inviting with a beautiful dining room, open fire, and mini-hairdressers. Our Mum particularly loved the entrance with its huge chandelier. The food was delicious, varied and was served as if in a restaurant. Meal times were considered to be a time for community. The activities are fun, appropriate, frequent and inclusive. The staff are thorough, compassionate, thoughtful and gentle. They treated our Mum as an individual, taking the time to really get to know her - she was a Queen each and every day that she was there. We will miss the Baradine Hilton almost as much as we will miss our Mum, (Auriol).

My mum is very happy and feels safe and well cared for. This makes us as a family feel relieved that we have found mum the VERY best place for her to call HOME.

My mother passed away a couple of months ago. She was looked after so well in the 5 years she was at the aged care and especially at the end of her life. The staff were always friendly and caring. The food was very pleasing. Her room was always clean. I can't praise them enough!
