BlueCross Monterey in Glenroy is a purpose-built aged care residence offering excellent accommodation for 78 people with low care needs, and can also offer ageing in place as care needs change. Residents in Deluxe rooms at Monterey offer all the amenities and furnishings of a Standard room and may enjoy views of the private courtyard patio or boundary garden and they may have access to a small private patio. The Deluxe rooms are very generous and are ideal for use by couples.

Purpose-built Montereys simple floor plan and comfortable interiors make it a warm friendly residence.
It comprises multiple common lounges and sitting areas a dining room on each level self-service tea and coffee areas a sports lounge room Mens Shed an art and craft space a variety of outdoor private courtyards a library and off-street parking.
Monterreys lower level is where youll find the main common lounge with a cosy gas fireplace and regular movie matinees as well as a charming sitting area and library and the main dining room.
The upper level houses another common lounge as well as the second floor dining room adjacent to a small secure courtyard. Theres also the Retreat room where nondenominational chapel and memorial services take place and its also a peaceful place to enjoy time with visitors. Finally the Kingsford Smith lounge is where many of the Mens group activities take place.
Outdoors the main courtyard features a charming vine-covered arbour a barbecue area and outdoor seating with umbrellas and is ideal for afternoon teas with your family and friends. Garden lovers will also enjoy the raised herb garden cared for by the mens group members who together with the on-site chef cultivate a range of produce for use in meal preparation.
