Byron Aged Care offers single ensuited rooms with walk-in showers and easy access toilets. This enables independent and private living, but also the size and standard of the rooms facilitate delivery of high care to meet the varying needs of our residents. Our spacious rooms are re-decorated to a high standard and have built in wardrobe, large chest of three drawers, bedside lamp and a comfortable chair. All rooms have television cabling, and ceiling fans and wall heaters come standard. We encourage residents to tailor their rooms with precious and treasured keepsakes ensuring memories and experiences are maximised. All rooms also have screen doors, are lockable and accessed via internal corridors which lead into the verandah and internal courtyards.

Residents of these rooms have access to communal areas which includes recently upgraded lounges, leisure and dining facilities, courtyards and newly added front patio that provides linkages to the local township. The upgrades have introduced flexibility with movable walls that enables intimate dining or leisure time with friends on one hand, but also host larger celebrations for occasions such as Christmas. New amenities for instance a library with fireplace, media room and fully functioning residents’ and visitors’ kitchen have been added. The main lounge also boast a piano amongst other amenities that add into the lifestyle program. All the living areas have new furnishings that meld with the locality, are lightweight, with an elegant finish and have the feel and comfort of home.
