We had to put mum in to respite for two weeks in Carinya House and we couldnt be happier with this facility. Mum's needs are taken care of promptly by very caring, courteous carers and staff. The room is spacious, clean and flooded with light , as is the whole facility. The decore is modern and stylish throughout the facility. Mum said the food is delicious. So happy with Carinya House. We cant thank the staff enough for how well they are looking after mum.

I just wanted to say how amazing the staff are , I cannot believe the kindness and laughter that goes on there.
Everyone has really welcomed my mother with open arms and they are bending over backwards to assist her and myself with anything.
Seriously , They have such a wonderful establishment there , it nearly makes me want to stay there myself Haha

This facility has excellent care and the communication is fantastic. If anything happens - a fall or any incident, they are on the phone to us immediately to let us know.
Carinya House is a 60 bed facility able to take residents classified as high and low care, including those living with dementia. We provide for ageing in place which simply means that as care needs increase and residents become 'high care' they do not need to move to a different facility. We have the capacity to continue to care for them in the same location ' normally the same room.Situated in the grounds of Glenhaven Gardens Retirement Village, the facility is on 2 levels, with the lower level having 2 secure dementia units. With expansive views to the Blue Mountains, Carinya House presents a tranquil semi-rural setting. Each resident has their own private room with an ensuite bathroom.The Facility Manager of Carinya House is an experienced registered nurse and is supported by a team of registered nurses, care staff, therapists, maintenance and domestic staff, as well as a team of volunteers.Carinya House is also able to offer respite car
