At first, Crofton House was not that far from their advertised claims to be a "the very best of comfort and care around the clock." At the time, the staff- particularly the foreign staff- were lovely. Afterwards, cracks started to appear- rooms were not repaired, carers were under pressure, cleaning was below average, and the food was not palatable.
