Mum has been in memory support for almost four years now. Excellent staff.Special praise to Cindy! I have peace of mind knowing the staff provide the best possible care for mum. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom are large. The building is well maintained. Cook does a good job. Nursing and care staff are lovely.Also Covid has been managed well. Thank you all.

During the 4 years my mother was here there were 4 changes of Director. The second Lifestyle Co ordinator was absolutely useless. We had a lot of food issues with Mum, Eye check ups were mixed up, Mum ‘went missing’ and staff on duty really had no idea what to do and were unable to contact Director after hours. There were lots of care issues that needed following up continually. The biggest concern was the 'fabrication' of Mum's care plan for funding reasons. There was also a huge lack of carers on duty during afternoons in the lounge area where at times there were 20 residents and no carer in sight.

I am sure the Care is good , but communication between the facility and family has been poor. There has been 4 changes of site manager since mum has been there..... nearly 3 years. Definitely a lack of funding for staff as sometimes a Carer can not be found. Relies heavily on family members and volunteers to help at meal times and with activities. Mum has been at Trowbridge since May 2016 and she has settled in very well, due in the main to the wonderful care provided by all who work at this facility. Trowbridge House is a two-storey facility comprising three units upstairs and one unit downstairs. There are single rooms across the facility with the majority having private ensuites. The site underwent a significant upgrade in 2005.Trowbridge House has extensive garden areas with sheltered areas and BBQ facilities providing opportunities for outside activities.There are also regular visits by doctors, allied health professionals, beauty therapists and several local businesses.Meals are cooked on-site daily by a chef.Residents come from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and our lifestyle programs aims to ensure their specific needs and preferences are well catered for.We have strong relationships with local GPs and pharmacy services. In collaboration with Norwood Council, we maintain links with social services including a community bus and elderly citizens clubs.Trowbridge House is located near several shopping precincts including The Parade at Norwood.
