Accommodation consists of single rooms with single rooms with shared or private en suites for frail and physically dependent residents requiring nursing care. We also provide care for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments requiring specialised care in a secure environment. Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) Port Macquarie has been committed to providing exceptional levels of aged care for over 125 years. CCA are part of St Agnes Catholic Parish and is responsible for the parish's ministry for older people, particularly those in need. With over 600 people in our care, CCA is the largest aged care provider within the Hastings Macleay areas.Emmaus has embraced a household model of care.

Delivering care to 116 residents, accommodation is made up by single Acacia Rooms, some with shared ensuites and some with individual ensuites. All rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning. Emmaus has embraced a household model of care. This is characterised by a sense of home, belonging, enabling, and engaging with life. Groups of twelve to eighteen residents live in the eight Emmaus Houses (Donnelly Place, Newman Place, Lourdes Place, Pauls Place, MacKillop and Agnes Place), actively sharing a kitchen, dining room and small intimate living areas supported by staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the resident's needs.
Common Areas Description
Emmaus provides friendly, home-like care in spacious accommodation that has been designed to take full advantage of the leafy green, natural surrounds. A reserve with a natural lake and wetland provides prolific bird and animal life, which can be enjoyed along the walking path that travels the perimeter of the grounds. Residents have a choice of menus with all meals prepared by St Agnes’ Food Services.
