Room Description

Residents have their own room. Each room is spacious light filled soft furnished including fire retarded curtains over a double window. Each room has a private en-suite which includes a walk in shower with a shower bench and mobility safety rails. Double built in Wardrobes with shelving and a personal safe. A large wall unit for personal belongings with room for a Refrigerator and TV. All rooms have cable access to the Greek Channels. Age Care standard grade vinyl is in all rooms with a electric hospital grade bed. Nurse call system is fitted in each room including en -suite. Different levels of lighting in the room with a separate over the bed light. All have self controlled air-conditioning.

Common Areas Description

Built in 1991 to accommodate 26 places and in 2005 extension to accommodate another 22 places. It has been fully refurbished during the last couple of years. It has a Main Dining room a Large Activity Room with regular program of activities designed to keep them active the facility has its own Chapel seating areas

2 dining rooms one off the commercial grade kitchen. Large activities room with small kitchenette which overlooks parklands. One large Tvlounge with single and double sofas and recliners. Fitted with Large flatscreen tv. 24 hour access to inside Chaple with church services once a month. 24 hour access to familiesrelative room for quiet space and privacy with tea and coffee facilities. Several covered outdoor sitting areas overlooking gardens or parklands. Several common sitting areas throughout the facility for residents and families. Walk through gardens. Inside glass atrium with garden. 10 space car park with disable parking. Common room with Hairdresser basin and facilities and allied health professional services. All areas are freshly painted with new floorings all common furniture was replaced with aged care appropriate furniture. A lift is situated in the facility which allows all residents to have access to both levels of the home.
