Building and Staff are lovely, but the telephone service provided is an absolute joke. Not a day goes by that you can pick up the phone and just call your loved one. Every week the system breaks down. Most days the residents cant call out, and family cant call in. With phones being the primary point of communication for family, you think they would show some compassion and put some of their vast resources into fixing this sub-standard system. My mum says its like being in a jail.

Food at this facility is cold or lukewarm (soup) very disappointing according to resident. Staff nor to be seen. Rooms very unappealing - dark, aged bathroom, old and marks on walls in section where my friend is. This was in building on the right, unable to comment on the left handside of the building. Recently called 3 times and left messages, was not contacted. Luckily family member is now in a different facility where is very happy.

My husband of 52 years has been in transitional care for 3 weeks. He is yearning to come home as I will care for him. We have been through a lot over last 11 months I can only hope we get a break and things go our way.

The staff were very caring and reactive to my mothers needs. She was treated with respect and dignity even though she became unresponsive and uncommunicative. They were always patient and positive in their attitude towards her - although at times her condition made it very difficult for all of us. They took time and effort to communicate her problems.
