Jesmond Aged Care is a multicutural facility, that has also operated as a cluster centre for Sydney’s Sri Lankan and Indian community since 1990 – one of the first of its kind in Australia. Jesmond has continued with this work and now is recognized as being a “ground breaker†in this area of care. Our Care Staff speak a variety of languages in addition to English (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, Tagalog). We offer full time residential care in addition to respite and our on-site kitchen freshly prepares a daily, (dietician approved) South Asian and Western menu.We at Jesmond pride ourselves on offering individualized care with an emphasis on maintaining and enhancing resident’s lifestyles. We aim to consistently provide a superior aged care service to ALL members of the community. Our main purpose is to enrich the lives of those we serve. The nursing home is fully accredited by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency.
