Gold Rooms are the facility's rooms with: * Modern, fully equipped ensuite * Non-slip timber finish vinyl flooring * Fresh neutral painted finishes * Inbuilt wardrobe including three storage drawers * Views of extensive gardens, adjacent park, the lake or surrounding hills * Neutral toned blockout curtains and sheers * Reverse cycle air conditioning for individual comfort and preference Each Gold Room Ensuite includes: * Personal shower chair * Nurse call bell points at the shower and toilet * Mobility rails either side of the toilet (can be repositioned if not required) * A porcelain basin with easy flick taps * Mirror fronted bathroom cabinet above basin * Ceiling mounted heat lamp, light & fan. Each Gold Room is furnished with: * Electric or manual lift bed * Foam geriatrician mattress * Nurse call bell point at the bed * Bedside table * Access to the VOIP telephone system * An over bed ceiling mounted dimmable reading light.

The residents living in our facility have access to a range of different communal spaces totalling approximately 860m² inside and 57m² undercover areas outside. The facility has been designed as an open plan living environment within four distinct wings. LOUNGE AREAS Each wing has a formal lounge area furnished with superior comfort furniture throughout. Armchairs and sofas are upholstered in quality water resistant fabrics, and have been shaped and sized to meet the varying needs of our resident population. Each lounge has a distinct decor theme and is decorated with attractive artwork and window treatments to create a home-like environment. All indoor common areas are fully climate controlled. Each lounge area has a flat screen TV with DVD player and an extensive DVD library which is available to all residents. DINING AREAS Each wing also has an open-plan dining area flowing from the lounge, furnished with clover form tables (allowing easy access for wheelchairs) and dining chairs that have supporting armrests. These areas cater for the small group of residents living in that wing. All dining areas have a small kitchenette for residents or visitors convenience with plumbed filtered boiling water, chilled filtered water and complimentary refreshments. A staff office is located in each lounge/dining area to ensure ready accessibility of trained and experience care staff. GARDENS Residents also have access to fully landscaped garden areas incorporating a mix of indigenous and exotic plants, shrubs and trees.
