I was in respite care having deitrie special needs while one chef was on i had reasonable food when she left getting beatable food. When I reported it no avail. Then I placed it on their site it was removed. At present I volunteer at another age care and see really healthy food and nothing is to much trouble. I believe there has been some improvement.

I cannot speak highly enough of opal lakeview from the who clean to those on charge, they are all truly wonderful caring people. The building itself is beautiful with lovely gardens and walkways. Food is excellent with consideration to your likes and dislikes. There is always some sort of activity happening for all types of interests. Wonderful place and people. Pat East

Mum's nursing home was taken over by Opal, since then it is just a business not a care facility. Mum's health has suffered and good staff have left so there is no consistency in care. Trained nursing staff are stretched to the max. Even the gardener only gets one day a week work to try and maintain quite extensive grounds. All I want to see is that All residents are cared for regardless of their income.

The staff are warm and caring....she has excellent care here

Staff gave 150% pity administration didn't back them. depending on who was in the kitchen, some of the meals were lovely and hot others I sent back.I stayed in the facility due to need of respite which took over 4 weeks. I would return, to volunteer
