My father considered Maranatha his home and the staff an extension of our family. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are activities for residents , movie days and excursions. Dress up days and smiling staff made his stay a happy one.

After a dreadful fall and three weeks in hospital, we moved Mum into high care for respite but it soon became apparent she was not going back to her beautiful retirement home. My Mum had to be moved from a lovely retirement home after a nasty fall. We organised respite here, which she did for a few weeks.
She wanted to go back but it was quickly becoming apparent that was never going to happen.
So with heavy hearts we explained this to her, we felt sick to the stomach and felt like we were letting her down. We saw it as a 'no win' situation. We could not have been more wrong!!
