My mother in law is in an aged care facility. She is 101 and a half. So she keeps reminding me. She loves her new home.

My mother was in Residential Aged Care for over 6 years till the age of 99yrs.8mths, where she was cared for lovingly. After the first month she settled in happily after realising the stress of living alone was over. She had a sweet and kind nature, joined in with painting, crosswords, outings in the bus and was always appreciative of her care, which included physiotherapy, podiatry and manicures. I joined her with many activities including meals. Many of the staff came to bid her farewell at her funeral. It was a comfort to see how they had cared. I saw for myself how kindness begets kindness.
