About McNamara Lodge

Here at McNamara Lodge we offer a 96 bed fully accredited low care facility. Our home is divided into four houses. Each house consists of 24 single rooms which surround the main dining and living area.Each room offers a private en-suite, split system wall mounted remote controlled air-conditioning, telephone facilities available, patio entry to gardens and walkways around the facility, external Gopher access to estate from selected rooms, General facilities available to residents include a Computer Room, well-stocked libraries and Duress system¿24 hour care staff in attendance.Other benefits to living in the Lodge include qualified nursing staff 7days per week, visiting GP service, visiting Allied health professionals, onsite salon and visiting hairdresser and beautician, large central activities room, Estate motel rooms available to families and an on-site Hydrotherapy Pool.We offer an extensive activity program including craft sessions, cooking, card and

Room Description

Each room has an electronic bed bedside table and built in wardrobe. There are two nurse call points installed to provide choice of bedroom set up. Floor to ceiling windows and doors provide direct access to small external patio and garden pathways. Windows are dressed with full-length fabric drapes and sheers. Security screens are installed on all bedroom doors opening into small patio and garden areas. Temperature is controlled via split system individually controlled air conditioners in each room. Ensuites are very spacious with floor to ceiling tiling and 3 in 1 heat light exhaust fans. Floors are covered with high quality carpet. These large rooms have an abundance of natural lighting and uninterrupted outlook onto garden and or courtyard areas.

Common Areas Description

Common areas are carpeted and furnished with quality homelike furniture and fittings. Floor to ceiling windows are dressed with full-length fabric drapes and sheers and coordinated fabric pelmets. Paintings prints photographs and other decorative items are placed throughout the common areas to enhance the dcor of the environment.
Common areas have an abundance of natural lighting from floor to ceiling windows that open onto gardens and internal atriums.
Flat screen TVs and entertainment units are located in common areas for resident use in addition to well stocked and rotated library bookshelves
