Extremely good facility. Florence Aged Care, in the 4 years that my mother was a resident, they gave her quality of life, where previous to that she had none. She neither walked nor ate solid food on entering Florence but with months of care she was able to eat again and regain the use of her legs with the aid of a walking frame. and it is thanks to Florence that she had quality of life in the last 4 years of her life.

Teeth cleaned without toothpaste same tube unused for 6 weeks Clothes put on resident dirty and disheavaled when plenty of clean clothes in cupboard and washed by family weekly also Left in wet pads

Left in dirty clothes for several days clothes not adjusted when put on teeth not cleaned with toothpaste (same tube unused for 6 weeks)

Patients seat pad alarms not turned on at all times and or broken for length of time if alarm does go off staff are slow to respond or ignore them Patients are flat on floor due to this with serious injuries.

Facility is under staffed and staff are slow to respond to alarm mats Staff are not made aware of certain patients feeding needs and don't know answers to basic questions or make up answers so they can continue their social chats with other staff
