Two covered external areas are available for external activities such as exercise classes as well as BBQ's. Set on 10 hectares of land, Murroona Gardens offers a total of 90 licensed beds spread between our Frangipani, Orchid, Banksia, Hibiscus, Jacaranda, Foxtail, Kentia, Kapok and Acacia wings. In addition, there are 80 independent living units situated in our Rotary Village and Murroona Residential areas. Facility offers a Day Therapy Centre and bus which is available five days per week to provide therapy, activities and friendship to community based clients, independent living unit tenants and residents. Murroona Gardens has a long and proud history of providing quality 24 hour nursing care, personal care, full catering, cleaning and laundry services as well as activity programs to our residents. We are extremely proud of our excellent record of service to our residents having achieved continuous three yearly Aged Care Accreditations since 2000. Murroona Gardens is a community based registered Not For Profit Charitable organization. Day to day operational issues are managed by the Director of Nursing Megan Murray and Chief Executive Officer Greg Pollard. Responsibility for governance and setting the future direction for the facility rests with a Board which consists of eleven local business people.
