Review Olivet Aged Persons Home

My Mother Valda Divola goes to respite on a regular basis at olivet and I find the Manager Cathy and staff very friendly and helpful. They concentrate on her wellbeing which is so important. If they have any concerns I am notified and they have a nurse there and notify the Locum doctor if unable to get my Mums regular doctor. VERY IMPRESSED

My mum was in respite care. The food was bland and many times she could not eat it. I took her an emergency pack of snacks. One staff member treated my mother badly. It was investigated but I felt that some of the blame was directed back at my mother's problems. There are also some lovely staff working there but I would not recommend it on my mum's experience overall.

My father-in-laws aged care facility was well run and he was well cared for.

This is a extremely good facility where the comfort and well being of the residents living there are of prime importance. The personal care is of high quality and the activities during the day keep them occupied and entertained. But not only the residents are taken care of so are the staff throughout the complex. Every one seems sp happy there.

The personal care and communication from the staff to the family was exemplary. The knowledge that my husband's mother was treated with dignity was very comforting. Meeting her emotional, medical and personal needs all mattered to the staff.

About Olivet Aged Persons Home

Welcome to the Olivet Aged Care facility located at Ringwood. Olivet is owned and operated by the Christadelphian Welfare Association (Vic) Inc. and has been providing services for the aged since 1960. The overall complex is over four hectares of land and comprises a full range of accommodation, care and services for the aged and frail, set amongst beautiful garden and courtyard settings. Our services at Olivet are offered to Christadelphians and the general community. We have a holistic approach to care that respects each individual and promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of all our residents. As a charitable, not-for-profit organisation all surplus funds are reinvested back into caring for our residents and facilities. The Christadelphians are a Bible-based community. We believe that by caring for the aged and frail we are demonstrating Jesus Christ's love, mercy and compassion in a practical way.
