My mum has been a resident in Olivet for 2 years now. Every person I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is bright and cheery the moment you come through the door. My mum recently was not well, and the care and attention she received was fantastic and the staff were also very supportive to me during this time. I feel really fortunate to have mum in this home and I have recommended it to my friend for her mother.

This is not my first experience with nursing homes but it absolutely my best. My Father in law recently entered Olivet and I could not be happier with how things are going for him. The magic to this place is the staff and their attitude. Every single staff member cares for the residents like they are family and it a very caring and warm environment. Our family feel blessed to have found such a wonderful place.

Dad was in Olivet respite care several times, after which we wait listed him for permanent care at Olivet. Following a serious medical incident he took up a place in their high care Oaks wing as a Govt funded resident in May 2020. The transition to residential status and subsequent care has been exceptional. He is essentially non verbal and requires major assistance for all his basic needs. My Mother Valda Divola goes to respite on a regular basis at olivet and I find the Manager Cathy and staff very friendly and helpful. They concentrate on her wellbeing which is so important. If they have any concerns I am notified and they have a nurse there and notify the Locum doctor if unable to get my Mums regular doctor. VERY IMPRESSED

My mum was in respite care. The food was bland and many times she could not eat it. I took her an emergency pack of snacks. One staff member treated my mother badly. It was investigated but I felt that some of the blame was directed back at my mother's problems.There are also some lovely staff working there but I would not recommend it on my mum's experience overall.
