There are never sufficient staff on shifts in each section to deal with residents with health issues one nurse for 18 residents some of which have dementia and high care needs. Not good enough for our elderly

Staff per shift, especially afternoon is about 1 per 30!! My mother was not cleaned up or showered quite a few times that I went in there at 11am. I was totally disgusted! meals are below average. Not anywhere near enough staff to help the many residents that need help eating. Takes ages for staff to attend to buzzer call because there are not enough staff. Rooms are not always swept. This is the fault of the company that owns the facility, not the staff. Very very under staffed.

My mother was only in the Villa Vincent Nursing Home in Townsville for a little under a month before she passed away. She was extremely high care but she was always given the best of care and consulted regarding things during her stay there

Number of staff to residents continues to diminish and this impacts on care provided such as having a nurse available or having rooms cleaned rules continue to change and it is impacting on the residents these homes should make the residents feel as though they are in their own home as much as possible

Too few staff ever around to help take way too long to answer buzzer for elderly who can't walk. Too many staff who do not have good English for older people to understand too few caring staff
