This is a Rehab assessment. ( Brunswick Private Hospital). My mum was placed in a wing which has more staff than in-patient and at the end of corridor - out of sight, out if mind. The rehab program is to have her walking up-and-down the corridor once a day - you call this a proper rehab for 2.5 weeks? I spoke to the Do for I charge, OT and physio yet that's all my mum has got. My mum says "I like to be alone", yet I know she is a chatter-box and the centre if attention. I wonder if she says as such to just not to create waves. There was a hydro-therapy swimming pool ans she could be encouraged to use the facility. She has been a good swimmer before. Entering the pool would benefit her joints and circulation. Enough for the time being.
