Absolutely awful experience for my mother in law who became depressed ,had a fall , I was told she thru herself to the floor was told use it or loose it !! In reference to her not being to walk far. I would tidy her room when I went in and wipe down her over way as didn't seem to be cleaned also that her shortness of breath was anxiety and that SHE was upsetting the night staff !!!!! Wouldn't put my dog in there after this experience

My Mum has dementia and is in a secure aged village. It can be depressing for some residents and visitors. I believe the residents should be able to live like they did at home eg. If they want to sleep in, they should be allowed to. Their television programs should be monitored. Residents are shocked by some of the terrible stuff on tv! I suggest putting on some old classics for them to watch.
