The Pioneers Lodge is 6 years old. The entire facility was rebuilt on a flat greenfield site. It enjoys a modern design with abundant natural light. Every room has the following features-
-Carpeted
-Garden view.
-Separate air conditioning controls allowing the temperature to be set to suit every resident.
-Equipped with fire sprinklers.
-Connected to the warm water system
-Electrical earth leakage protection
-Prewired for pay tv and telephone
-Ensuites are 5m2

Common Areas Description

The Chauncy Unit has a large central loungedining area looking out onto an extensive garden .
Both corridors leading from the loungedining area have sitting rooms which are quieter and more private meeting areas for residents and visitors.
The unit has a fenced garden area with shade cloth protection and a gazebo.
The garden also has two large raised garden beds for vegetable production.
There is a large central courtyard with shadecloth protection.
There is a large central activities room which can be used for large group activities such as concertssinging groups carpet bowls morning teas and private functions.
There is a chapel which is used by visiting ministers and priests.
A hair salon is provided for use by visiting hairdressers.
