A variety of individually decorated communal lounges offer a choice of style and location for relaxing with friends and relatives. Our Food Services Team source the freshest produce daily and our onsite chef designs and prepares nutritious meals with menus shaped by input from residents and guests for a varied dining experience in our dining room or room service. All of our residents have access on request to our hairdresser.

Our companion share rooms is a perfect choice for couples and residents who enjoy the companionship of others. Our Facility Managers always pair residents of the same gender and when possible common interests which have often resulted in lifelong friendships, improved social activity and quality of life.
All our rooms have a nurse-call system, are generous in size and allow residents to have their personal spaces and privacy curtains.
The rooms are temperature controlled with reverse cycle heating and cooling. Each bed has a corresponding wardrobe for personal items, small furniture items or mobility devices. Upon request, we can provide a wall mount for your tv, and extra power points for a fridge.

A wall mount for your TV is included plus extra power points for your fridge and all rooms contain an emergency call bell and privacy curtains for each bed.

All of the 76 Residents of TriCare’s Point Vernon Age Care Residence have access to 4 areas suitable for dining, leisure/recreational activities. The 4 areas identified comprise of 2 combinations of Dining and Leisure/recreational areas and 2 outdoor areas. All of these areas are wheelchair accessible and are used for the various group activities provided and organised by the facility.
The principle Dining/Recreational area used by the Residents of the facility measures 15 metres by 16 metres with the front eastern wall comprised entirely of glass. This allows uninterrupted views of the adjacent treed esplanade and foreshore. The Cook Fresh kitchen serves directly into the main Dining/Recreational area. Meal seating arrangements include tables with a maximum seating of 4 Residents per table. Seating arrangements are flexible and changed to suit functions and celebratory days such as Christmas. This area also has wide screen TV and DVD player with a specific section providing lounge chair/sofa type seating arrangements for both Residents and family members.
The smaller Dining/Recreational is located at the western southern corner of the building. This area measures 6 metres by 8 metres and is equipped with DVD and has both Lounge and Dining Room type seating. Coffee and tea making facilities are available for Residents and their families. This area provides access to a fenced, grassed and paved 20 by 20 metres courtyard. Two large Bar-B-Qs are available for Resident and family related functions with pergolas for shade. A well maintained grassed and concreted area is located in the centre of the facility. This area is the designated outside smoking area for Residents and is used for activities tailored for smaller groups of Residents weather permitting.
