Sadly for this provider it's all about profit and not resident focused care at this facility. Lack of the basic resources to provide adequate care. Inappropriate skill mix. Poorly trained staff with little experience in aged care or dementia. Ridiculous work loads requiring staff to do hours of unpaid overtime. All contributing to poor outcomes for the residents.
All rooms are air-conditioned and overlook landscaped gardens. They feature a built-in wardrobe, telephone connection and an emergency call system. Rooms come furnished with a bed, bedside table and armchair and there is space for personal belongings.
Common Areas Description
At Yaralla Place, residents enjoy plenty of natural light and views of the beautifully landscaped gardens. Each house is connected by garden paths. Residents can tend to their own gardens or just sit in a sunny spot and admire what’s growing. Each household has its own lounge and dining room with kitchenette, and there are indoor and outdoor spaces that residents and their families can enjoy, including BBQ areas. Yaralla Place continues to enjoy close ties with the local Presbyterian Church and churches of other Christian denominations. Residents are welcome to attend on-site services and receive pastoral support. Our community is enjoying exciting upgrades, including the installation of the latest nurse communication and call alert system, upgrades to food service, and an award-winning staff culture program. We have no set visiting hours and welcome family and friends.
