Terrible place, not enough staff and the one's that are there are so overwhelmed and overworked they can't see what's in front of them. No communication with the residents as most of staff don't know English.

Unless the elderly can walk on there own and feed themselves then it is good. But if you are vunerable meaning wheelchair ridden and cannot communicate well then i wouldn't reccomend it at all. There is no means of entertainment, just a regimental routine wash, eat, sit in chair all day and then bed. And short staffed at times, it is very sad. All of them have been privatised and it is a big business for these nursing homes. It is all about the profit!

My father was a recent resident of Regis and our family were absolutely delighted with the care he received. We originally chose this facility due to many residents being of the same cultural background. This helped his transition from the home as he had many common interests with others. I believe that the strength of Regis Manor is their staff. They are all so caring and patient with the residents and treat them with courtesy and the utmost respect. The families are also always made to feel welcome and may even participate in activities (such as bingo) if you wish. The home was always kept clean and had a lovely ambience and 'communal' feel. The meals are also very well balanced and plentiful. No complaints there! My family would happily recommend this facility and whilst my father is no longer with us, I know he felt comfortable there and well cared for.
