My husband was non responsive when I went to visit him and his wound was badly infected. Called staff and after 40 minutes had to go and look for them. Comment was he is okay doesn't look too bad. He died one week later in hospital of Sepsis and Stapph infection.

The care given was excellent, the facility was clean and well maintained and secured.

Buildings are desperate for repairs, too hot in summer, freezing in winter. Too few staff to be able to help. Food unhealthy. Food staff helpful and nice.

I have experienced both of my parents being exposed to the Aged Care Syndrome - an experience I WILL NEVER HAVE, I would rather wander off to the wilderness. The majority of the staff have no idea of the individual needs of each person and seem to regard the residents as a burden. I recently spent some time in hospital and I could not believe the standard of the food. If this could be at this establishment, I asked myself why it can not be done...

My aunt has been in Wiljana for the past 2 years and went there after a fall that left her not very mobile. Her husband had passed away the year before. She is now content with her new life and finds the staff fabulous. We are happy to know she is well cared for and appreciate the care given.
