Until a month ago my mother was in residential care, the staff are very caring BUT there just aren't enough of them. Every lunchtime either my 85 yo dad or myself went to assist her with lunch etc as she couldn't manage and waiting for staff meant her meal was cold. My sister had to be placed in Care when she became too ill for us to look after her at home. Regis Sunraysia was just great as the staff were very friendly and kind to Jo, treating her with great care and respect for the last three days of her life. I cannot thank them enough.
May they continue to share their talents with others who need them.

While the staff generally tried to provide a pleasant environment, they were hampered by poor staff ratios. The RN in charge was usually run off her feet and so patients needing specialist attention often had to wait. I would like to have seen more use of music to stimulate clients rather than just a TV always on.
