The quality of food depends so much on the chef, even given the same budget to work with. The same goes for the staff, who perhaps should not just be nominated the staff of the week, but perhaps be rewarded if nominated x number of times as an acknowledgement and an incentive to provide consistent performance. It is done in sales for instance, why not other fields?

Residents are getting older so that even if the ratio of carers to residents may meet the mark, response time is much, much longer. Also there is no alternative to the buzzer (for service) when residents have lost the ability to use it. Casual staff are unaware of particular needs of residents-true in all facilities, I guess. Care is compromised when they are on duty. The facility is expanding. I wonder how it will cope as I understand there will be a dementia wing/floor. It is an excellent facility if your loved one is still functioning well ( can perform all everyday activities).

Mum has enjoyed the activities, even if limited by language barrier and fitness, offered by her residential care interesting. We feel the 24 hour care is more than any of her children can ever hope to offer. The kitchen staff in particular often makes the effort to accommodate her tastebuds. Can't be happier.

I have noticed my mother seems content here. The staff are very approachable and kind.

This Aged Care Centre caters to 40 residents both high and low care, although expansion to house twice as many residents are underway. The environment is very clean and fresh. Lunches are usually great but sandwiches for dinner sometimes are less appealing. It redeems itself with luscious soups however. Residents are entertained with varied activities on most days. A friendly staff.

Perfect care in a building that is slowly being replaced - have tried a few and got mum in on Respite (at a risk of loosing a bed elsewhere). So glad we took the risk - everyone from the cleaners up are so good and kind!
