My mother-inlaw went ino aged care at the age of 95 she passed away aged 98 and a half. The permanent staff were wonderful, really got to know them well. Any thing we needed for her they took care of without a fuss. My husband ended up volunteering there as their bbq cook once a month. All the residents couldn't wait for bbq day to come along. Since her death we have been back to see the residents they still love our visits.

Mum feels safe, independent of her children to a degree, in that we aren't her primary caregivers. This enables her to retain some dignity
