The Lakes Hostel is situated in a tranquil setting overlooking Lake Wallace. Residents have their own rooms, spacious enough to allow for that favourite chair, dressing table, and some personal items if desired. All rooms have an en-suite. There is a large communal dining/lounge area with lake views, where residents may eat their meals and join in the wide range of activities offered daily.

The Lakes Hostel is situated within the township of Edenhope overlooking Lake Wallace. The Hostel is part of Lakeside Living which also incorporates our Kowree Nursing Home. The Hostel has 22 rooms all on one level to allow for ease of access, ensuring quality and comfortable accommodation and care in a home-like environment. There is a communal kitchen and dining room together with a lounge area and large screen televisions. A hairdressing salon is also available for residents at an extra cost. The gardens and courtyard surrounds are equipped with comfortable seating for pleasant outdoor recreation in a safe environment. The landscaped surrounds consist of lawn areas, planted gardens, raised vegetable garden beds, easy walking paths and barbecue facilities. All meals are prepared on-site by our professionally trained Chefs. This service allows us to maintain full control of all meals to meet the specific dietary requirements for each resident. Our Leisure and Lifestyle Team plan activities for residents to partake in if they choose. The activities program is designed to preserve the independence, skills, memory and dignity of our residents.
