I find the most important aspect is staff quality for looking after patients.

While the building is old, the staff are generally great with a few exceptions.

Lovely, lovely staff who are going to no end of trouble to ensure residents are happy and well looked after. Very cheap, bland food. No real eggs, no cheese, no real butter. Not much in the way of fresh fruit variety(eg pears) only bananas constantly. No rockmelon or pawpaw or strawberries. Doesn't need to be gourmet, just better quality.

Facility staff lack compassion and residents are treated like second citizens food is very basic and lacks flavour overall I regret putting both my parents into aged care its a rip off for the quality if care they receive
