Shortage of staff is a real issue. Wheelchair bound residents, sound of mind, are not catered for in lifestyle events - staff are not available to wheel these residents to and from activities. Food is an ongoing issue not really catering for diabetics. Showering has now been reduced to 3 per week which causes unrest.

For my mother I have foundthe service at Strathdon to have greatly decreased over the last 4 years. Mum now only receives a shower every second day, on most days does not have breakfast until 8.30-9am due to staff not being available to help her. Not enough staff to adeqautely help residents. Lifestyle program is limited with not a lot available for those who are have are cognitively OK. Mum is never given the opporunity to go outside as no staff available!

My Mum has just passed away after 2.5 years in a nursing home. I cannot compliment all the staff more highly and many have become friends. The genuine care she received was incredible and I will actually miss the community.

The lifestyle/ activity program has also declined in quality and there are often days when no activities are available that I would enjo...
