My father was in aged care in Sunshine, even though a hard decision to make, it was the best decision for him and for his family, he was well looked after and we had piece of mind. We got to know many other residents there and they also became our friends and we greeted and treated them as our own. The whole experience was comforting for us to know that he was treated with love and respect and this was wonderful.

My mother has been resident at this facility for more than two years. The reception staff are warm and very welcoming. The nursing/aid staff are caring and compassionate people. The facility is modern but not state of art. It is cosy and clean. Cleaners are seen everyday, wiping, mopping, dusting and cleaning. The rooms are spacious and have private bathrooms. There are plenty of choices to take part in lifestyle activities. The pastoral care is high quality. Religious services and visits are available if wanted. The food is prepared in their own kitchen and is of high quality. The menu has been adjusted for my mothers needs in consultation with management many times. Management always make themselves available if you want to talk about anything. I have had no issue that wasn't resolved quickly and efficiently. I feel that I can discuss anything with them and they are always willing to take make changes if possible. My mother and my family are well cared for at this facility. Highly recommended.

My father was in Aged Care for 5 years, eventually he was moved to the Dementia Ward, there were a total of 12 people in the Dementia Ward, the staff were very caring, the meals were great and the correspondence between the home and my sister and myself was excellent, no matter what sort of day my Dad had, big or small we were always aware of what was happening. It was such a comfort to us to know that he was in good hands and we couldn't have been more satisfied, sadly he passed away over a year near, but their compassion during this time was great.
