We visited Weary Dunlop in Wheelers hill Victoria. The tour organizer was marvelous. Very informative and she went through the whole center and showed us around. Then we stopped at their cafe and had cake and coffee. I enjoyed the tour very much.

I went to visit and most of the staff could not speak English or understand English.
This seems to be a big problem with the elderly as they cannot communicate with the carers who service them.
They would speak another language in front of you which I found rude.

It has been a couple of years since I had to place my darling Mum into care and she has since passed to, I hope, a happier place. The Nursing Home was lovely and the care I saw when I was there was excellent. It has since worried me that she received the same care when I wasn't around. It is such a necessary evil and I wish I could have kept her in home with more specialised care but this in turn has its own problem of worrying if she was ok. Lif...

ryman retirement village in wheelers hill is absolutely excellent. at weary dunlop the level of care and the excellent facilities and the lifestyle staff go out of their way to give a hug or have interest in all patrons.
Our new resort-like, purpose-built village and aged care facility is located in the beautiful suburb of Wheelers Hill, Melbourne. The village is conveniently located next to the Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre, and public transport right next door. The modern village design concept, and friendly, kind staff, means our residents receive the very best care. Each resident has the same regular staff members attending to their needs, fostering a close relationship and understanding between residents and staff. All care staff undertake regular training, and are well supported and supervised.Our outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped with wonderful shots of seasonal colour. Indoors, we provide spacious lounge and dining areas, designed and decorated to ensure the resident is comfortable and feels at home.
